Service is Our Job. Safety is Our Culture.

At TRK, safety isn’t a checklist or a policy – it’s our standard, how we operate. From rig up to the last tally, we take care of our people, our customers, and every job site we step onto. It’s not about doing the minimum. It’s about doing it right—every time.

What Happens When Safety Isn’t the Standard?

In this industry, shortcuts don’t just cost money – they cost people. When safety isn’t part of a company’s culture, you get:

  • Injuries from missed hazards, unsafe acts, or lack of communication.
  • Damaged equipment and connections from poor handling and rushed decisions.
  • Delays, fines, and frustrated customers from compliance failures.
  • Costly rework, downtime, and preventable mistakes.

At TRK, we don’t leave safety to chance or last-minute reminders. We instill the right practices before we ever step foot on location – so that when it’s time to work, our crews are ready, focused, and locked in from the first joint to the last.

Our Safety Program: Built for the Work We Actually Do

TRK’s safety program is designed for real-world conditions, not built for what looks good on paper. Our crews work in high risk, high demand environments, so our systems are built to meet that standard. Every policy, every training, every practice—we do with intention, because we know what’s on the line.

Here’s how we put safety into motion:

  • Pre-Job Meetings & JSAs – No Exceptions: Every job starts with a pre-job meeting and JSA. Hazards are identified, roles are defined, and lines of communication are opened.
  • Hands-On, Role-Based Training: We train employees on the tools and tasks they actually perform—laydown machines/trippers, CRTs, tongs, handling tools, and more. This helps eliminate the most common causes of injury—pinch points, dropped objects, and overexertion.
  • Pre-Job Tool Inspections: All tools are inspected prior to every job. Findings and follow-ups are recorded in KPA Flex, creating full accountability and traceability.
  • Behavior-Based Safety Program: Hazards, near misses, and unsafe behaviors are logged directly into KPA Flex using our BBS system. Everyone has access. Everyone is expected to use it.
  • The 6 Absolutes: These six non-negotiables were created by TRK field employees which guide every employee, every decision, every job. They’re more than rules – they’re the foundation of how TRK works.
  • Bi-Weekly Safety Meetings & On-Demand Training: In person safety meetings happen every two weeks. When crews are in transit or on a job, training is assigned through KPA Flex so nothing slips through the cracks.

At TRK, safety isn’t just a priority—it’s a mindset. It’s how we lead, how we show up, and how we finish strong.

Certifications & Compliance: More Than a Checklist

We don’t chase compliance – we lead with it. TRK meets or exceeds the highest standards in safety and performance because our crews are trained, our systems are documented, and our expectations don’t bend. We maintain active compliance with:

  • API Standards: Our procedures align with leading industry practices, including API Q2 and other relevant specs tied to tubular running operations.
  • OSHA Regulations: From recordkeeping to training, we meet federal safety requirements—and back it with ongoing internal audits and field coaching.
  • ISNetworld & Major Operator Portals: We stay current and approved with major operators across North America, including site-specific requirements.
  • PEC Safety & Specialized Certifications: Our employees hold valid credentials for site access, including H2S, Fit Testing, SafeLand/Veriforce, and operator-driven training programs.
  • Drug & Alcohol Program (DISA Managed): We follow a strict testing protocol—pre-employment, random, post-incident, and reasonable suspicion—administered by DISA.
  • Graded Background Checks: All TRK employees undergo background screenings that include motor vehicle reports, verified through DISA and tailored to client specific requirements.

Need documentation? We’re ready. We’ll provide our TRK Safety Manuals, practices, training records, and inspection logs – whatever you need to get your vendor file in order.
